Austrian G.I. Joe turns into G.I. Jane
The officers and soldiers of the barracks in Gratkorn, Austria, were shocked when it appeared that their colleague Gregor had changed into Jasmin during his holiday. The 46 year old captain complained about stress and took a three month holiday. He returned to the Army ‘reborn’, because during his absence he underwent a sex change operation. Jasmin doesn’t have to fear about losing her job. The Army has decided to respect the captain’s sex change. “We will not challenge this very personal decision”, an Army spokesperson declared.
Though it will be hard for her colleagues to adapt to this extraordinary situation. “We must wait and see if any problems may arise”, said one of the soldiers in the barracks, “He left the building a man and returned as a woman. We find it rather strange”.
