In Lodz, the second biggest city in Poland, streetracing is now somewhat allowed at night. The police will cordon off some areas so the speed junkies can go their merry way.  This plan is intended to lower the number of fatal car crashes in the rest of the city, because the youngsters will race in a controlled area.

The police had to come up with some plan while illegal streetracing caused havoc throughout the city every night.

“We made an agreement with the organizers of the illegal streetraces, ” tells the leader of one of the official motor clubs in Lodz, “Now they race in closed off streets, while the cops can keep an eye on them. In exchange for this privilege they promised to stop speeding on other public roads in the city.

The Polish press rejects the plans. They say the government should not give in to the demands of ’street racing scum’. 

A viscous anti smoker in Germany became so angry when his girlfriend refused to put out her cigarette, he pulled out a fire extinguisher and covered her and her apartment with white foam.

“At first my colleagues thought a bomb had gone off”, the spokesman for the Bielefeld police department told the press.

The couple was having an argument about the woman’s smoking habits when the man went berserk. After she refused to put out the cigarette he started yelling “torture !”. After this he went on a rampage with the fire extinguisher.

The idiot managed to put out the cigarette, but he couldn’t care less about the damages to the apartment. The man and woman are no longer a couple.

The police in California have arrested a man they suspected of making over 27.000 prank phone calls to the 911 emergency services.  During these calls he treated the emergency workers to bodily noises, murmur and other weird stuff.

When found guilty of these matters, the 45-year-old John Triplette from Hayward, North-California, might be fined for 1.000 dollars and/or receive a 6 to 12 months jail sentence.

Triplette made all his 27.000 calls over the course of nine months time.  It all started with calling in lame jokes in May 2007.  At the height of his idiot adventure he bombarded the Hayward emergency services with 1.327 prank calls in one week.

Triplette has apologized for all the annoying stuff he put the services through. But why did he do it in the first place? ” Because it is a free number “, the jackass said. 

A worker from Stoke, England, was wrongfully arrested by police after they had mistaken his Ipod for a revolver. The 28-year old Darren Nixon was chased down by the cops, while riding the bus from work to his home. Three squad cars were involved.  

The cops  managed to stop Darren close to his home, where they ordered to stick his hands up in the air and pointed their weapons at him. Earlier someone had alarmed the police after seeing Darren trifling his mp3 player. Somehow it had looked like the guy was loading a revolver, while all he was doing is changing the song on his Ipod.

” I did not know what was going on until I removed my ear pieces. One can only imagine what would have happened if I had reached for my Ipod when they charged me “, Darren Nixon later said.

After being handcuffed Darren was taken to the police station. Luckily for him he was allowed to return home after they had taken his fingerprints. 

                                               Deadly weapon

 This following story is both hilarious and unbelievable.

A 70-year-old ‘fake’ blind guy saw his career as fraud come to a sudden end last Thursday, an Italian TV station reported.

The ’strikingly nervous’ man refused to show his drivers license to the police. This happened during a routine traffic control close to the town of Spezia in northern Italy. ” When we later checked his medical record we found out we were in for a surprise. We discovered the guy was registered as 100% blind”, a police spokesperson told the station. 

Police later found out that the man had been illegally posing as a blind person for over 40 years. This way he was able to collect a disability pension and numerous other advantages from his former employers. He was arrested as a frauds the same day.
